In 2010, after a decade of teaching and building digital skills within the community, Trish observed that the internet, particularly through innovations from Google, was undergoing massive changes. These changes were set to render many local businesses with an online presence invisible, fundamentally altering the landscape for small businesses. Recognising the need to prepare businesses for these digital transformations, Trish pivoted her focus and developed THE TEC EXEC to guide regional businesses through this critical period.

Understanding that regional communities deserved the same opportunities as those in major cities, Trish launched the Digital Accelerator Program. This program is designed to help small businesses and community groups in regional Australia adapt to the digital age, ensuring they can harness new opportunities and remain competitive. Trish’s passion for supporting community groups and not-for-profits has been a driving force behind THE TEC EXEC’s mission to build online opportunities and enhance digital profiles across these regions.

As a network partner of the Be Connected program, we offer fee-free training to eligible organisations. This partnership allows us to extend our reach and impact, providing essential digital education to those who need it most.
